“The position of the artist is humble. He is essentially a channel.” (Piet Mondrian). Here, Andi shows the beauty in the geometric shapes of the facade of her neighbor’s house. The straight lines are offset by the round door light. The afternoon sun creates interesting shadows on the bright white house. The stark whiteness is offset by the green door, which, because it is a historic home, is slightly undersized. The complexity of the simple.
