Tin Pan Alley

Provincetown's Tin Pan Alley, a restaurant and cabaret that remembers a by-gone era. Housed in a building that was constructed in the late 19th century, the hey day of the "song pluggers", pianists and singers who made their living demonstrating songs to promote sheet music sales. The painting's perspective captures the essence of the era so well that one can almost hear Alexander's Ragtime Band.
