Low Tide

 

​​In Provincetown, the daily rhythm revolves around the extreme difference between low and high tide.  Swim and kayak at high tide.  Stroll out barefoot in the soft sand at low tide.  While there is a scientific reason for the tides involving the gravitational pull of the moon, it is nice to fancy that the Gods smiled on Provincetown when they created the unparalleled beauty and wonder of the flats at low tide.
